Much of Abigale’s short life has been spent battling numerous life-threatening medical conditions. She’s endured over 10 surgeries and was not expected to make it to her third birthday.
All the while, she’s managed to keep her spunky attitude. She loves giraffes and rocket ships, and she especially loves spending time with her family.
When given the chance to choose a wish, Abigale wished to travel to Virginia to visit her aunt Lolo.
Little did she know how many cousins would show up to help celebrate her wish come true—on her 5th birthday!
For Abigale, the highlight of her wish was visiting with family. She also loved going to the Air and Space Museum, and she was given her very own astronaut helmet. For the remainder of the trip, Abigale wore her helmet and repeated the phrase: “Up, up, and away!”
“You didn’t just grant Abigale’s wish,” said her mom Melissa. “You granted my wish too…to see my daughter so happy.”
Thanks to supporters like you, Abigale was able to get away and rise above the daily challenges of her medical condition and experience her first real vacation…with her beloved family.
