It Began with a Wish
More than 100 people gathered outside Barracuda Coffee Company on a Sunday afternoon to cheer on and celebrate the arrival of six-year-old Miette, a cancer-fighting Tri-Cities local whose wish kicked off Wish Week in Tri-Cities, a weeklong celebration of Make-A-Wish® in the area.
Miette wished to renovate her family’s airstream trailer, so she can spend more time traveling with them and less time in the hospital. Miette's dad, Kelly, said there were times when he thought his daughter may not live to see her next birthday, let alone experience the joy Make-A-Wish Washington has brought into her life. Upon seeing her renovated trailer for the first time, Miette said in excitement; “I’m sleeping here tonight!”

The Numbers Are In!
Finally, hundreds of people came out for the extensive line-up of corvettes during the Corvettes on the Columbia event, which raised an amazing $41,000 to grant eight future wishes in Tri-Cities! Special thanks to 3 Rivers Corvette Club and McCurley Integrity Dealerships for their commitment to granting wishes to local children.
