Summer is Wish Season in Alaska, and You Can Help

Hannah held a puppy in her arms in the snow. Lindsey stood on a mountain top, awing at the Northern Lights above. Ryan reeled in a trout as long as his arm and grinned from ear to ear.
  • Hannah experienced the mushing life during her Iditarod wish.

  • Lindsey said seeing the Northern Lights was "even more awe-inspiring than I had imagined."

  • Ryan reeled in a big one, ice fishing in Fairbanks.

Every year, kids like Hannah, Lindsey and Ryan leave their medical worries behind and travel from across the country to visit the Last Frontier for an Alaskan wish experience.

Summer is the busiest time for wishes in Alaska and we need airline miles and local wish-granting volunteers to help make them come true.

“A ride in a seaplane!” “A fishing trip with my dad!” The heartfelt wishes keep coming, but we don’t have the resources we need to grant them all.

Right now, we have 22 children waiting to visit Alaska this summer, and 41 Alaskan kids waiting for their wishes, but we cannot grant them without your help.

We need donations of airline miles and volunteers to help grant these wishes. If you have unused airline miles, please consider donating them to us!

To sign up for an online volunteer training, please email Juli McClave, volunteer manager, at Whyv@nxjn.jvfu.bet.
