Who and What
Think Mission Impossible meets 007. That’s the vibe that about 1,000 people will enjoy at Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington’s Mission: Incredible, Wish Night Gala and Auction on Saturday, March 9.
The event filled with dastardly villains, mystifying entertainment and good prevailing over evil (THE Rex Velvet himself!) will raise funds to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Kids like Colby whose wish to be a secret agent is the evening’s inspiration.
In addition to Colby’s wish story, guests will also hear from John Crowley, father of two Make-A-Wish recipients whose family’s story was made into the major motion picture starring Brendan Frazier and Harrison Ford, Extraordinary Measures.
Guests will have an opportunity to bid on more than 200 live and silent auction items, enjoy a gourmet dinner and drinks while making wishes come true in the process. Tickets are $250 per person and $2,500 for tables of 10. For more information, visit www.nwwishes.org or call 800.304.WISH.

About Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington:
Since 1986, Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington has granted wishes to more than 5,200 children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. This year, the local chapter will grant more than 300 wishes. According to a 2011 U.S. study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed believe a wish-come-true can influence the health of children. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illnesses, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family.
