On March 8, Dryden held her framed wish artwork in front of a ballroom full of bidders with a beaming smile.
It was one of many moments during the Wish Night® Gala & Auction, presented by Russell Investments, that captivated and inspired an audience of 1,000 wish supporters.
Guests were wowed by auction items and entertainment, including Carl’s wish to be a WWII fighter pilot in Pearl Harbor. Carl and his family were in attendance at the event, which dazzled with 1940s glam and décor in his honor.
In addition to Carl’s poignant and adventuresome story, Jeff and Sarah, parents of wish kid and leukemia-survivor, Trystian, talked about the impact their son’s wish experience had on their family. They shared moments from their family’s experience—from the devastating time of diagnosis to the experience of the wish to fundraising to give back and standing in front of a sold-out room for Make-A-Wish.
More than $1.3 million was raised to help grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
If you were unable to attend Wish Night but still want to help, please consider making a donation.
