Macy's Thanks For Sharing Success!

"As a Macy's employee and a wish mom, I was and am still humbled to know that Macy's supports Make-A-Wish and the employees of wish children." says wish mom and Macy's employee, Laura Theus.

It was the support of Macy's and Make-A-Wish that made all of the difference for Laura's family as her son, Christopher, was battling cancer in 2005. In a recent letter, Laura says "Even to this day former Make-A-Wish employees and long term Macy's employees continue to show the support and love just as they did that first day."

Longtime Make-A-Wish supporter Macy's celebrated the 11th year of their Thanks For Sharing holiday program, which kicked off on September 11, 2013.

Thanks to the support of local Macy's stores and customers, Macy's has reached its goal of 1.5 million enrollments for its Thanks For Sharing program, which means that $15 million will be donated to charitable causes, including Make-A-Wish, nationally.
