In this role, his focus is fundraising, organizational strategy and community relations. Peter coaches and leads our efforts with individuals and families; businesses and corporations; and events and experiences.
Peter’s career has consistently involved children – particularly when they face challenges, crises, and life-changing opportunities. Throughout his career he has worked on issues that impact local and global communities, so Make-A-Wish is the perfect fit allowing him to marry that experience with an organization that has a strong local, national and international presence. This work is both inspiring and compelling.
Peter teaches in the Master of Nonprofit Leadership Program at Seattle University, which reflects his desire for excellence in nonprofit leadership and philanthropy. He holds graduate degrees from Seattle University (M.B.A.), the University of Illinois (M.S.W.) and Yale University (M.Div.). Peter attempts to weave these three fields together (business, social work and theology/ethics) as he leads the team and the community to make wishes come true for children and youth.
