Make-A-Wish offers students an excellent way to gain real world experience in a challenging and fun work environment.
Our chapter works with students year-round who are looking to gain experience in accounting, finance, program services (wish-granting), communications, social media, marketing, special events and volunteer management. Internships are available in our Seattle, Spokane or Anchorage offices. We request a 10 to 20 hour per week commitment for the duration of two quarters/one semester by potential internship applicants. Make-A-Wish internships are without pay, but we do work with students to provide college credit for their experience.
Requirements: Internship application materials, background check and a staff interview. Training is provided in the office by the managing staff member, 4-6 month minimum time commitment.
To apply for an internship, please send your resume and cover letter to the Volunteer Manager.
